The staff took good, personal care of my friends and me while we visited Houston. We felt thoroughly welcomed, even though we were out-of-towners. There is an AMI jukebox on which you can play your favorite tunes! The décor is fun and casual. Prices are reasonable. Also, they are open on Mondays right until 2:00am, whereas many other nearby bars are closed that day. I recommend stopping here to enjoy a few cold ones! 🙂

We found this bar by accident and I'm so glad we did. They were playing some great music and the staff was amazing. You know sometimes a bar just has a great vibe, well this is that bar.

This was a great rock bar great atmosphere good late 90's and early 00's rock music among other newer genres the bartender was very sweet and fun, good place for drinks with friends, great vibes.

Hands down one of my favorite bars in Houston! Dirt Bar has such a cool, laid-back vibe—dark, grungy, and full of character. The music was on point, the drinks were strong and affordable, and the bartenders were super chill and welcoming. It’s the kind of place where you can let loose, have real conversations, and just enjoy the night. Bonus points for being right across from House of Blues perfect for pre- or post-concert hangs. Definitely coming back!

Went here after the March Madness games. Very busy but the service was so good no one waited long for a drink. Good mix of all the opposing teams and everyone got along great. Will return. Cheers from AZ!

My buddy and I had such a great experience here that we decided to stay in Houston an extra day just so we could come back again!! From the moment we walked in, we knew we were in the right place. The rock and metal music set the perfect atmosphere, and the staff made us feel welcome immediately. While sitting at the bar, I casually mentioned to my friend that my beer could be a little colder. Veronica overheard and instantly brought me a bucket of ice for it—talk about great service and attention to detail! Our bartenders, Kat and Jake, were fantastic. They were friendly, funny, and always checking on us to make sure we had everything we needed. Jose, the barback, was just as awesome. We spent some time chatting with him, and he even took a picture with us. Even Jonno, the security guard, went above and beyond by giving us a ride back to our hotel after last call. Every single employee contributed to making us feel welcome and ensuring we had an unforgettable night. It’s rare to find a place where the entire team genuinely cares about creating a great experience for their guests. I come to Houston every three months for appointments at MD Anderson. What is usually a difficult trip to a city that carries a lot of challenging memories for me turned into one of the best nights I’ve had in a very long time. This bar has officially become a must-visit stop whenever I’m in Houston. Thank you to everyone on the team for making our trip so memorable!!!

Had an awesome time at The Dirt Bar Houston. Amazing bartender, great atmosphere, and the drinks were on point. The aesthetics are super cool, especially the gallery wall and the photo booth wall, such a vibe. My photo’s up there too… find me next time you visit lol.

I recently visited this bar and had a great experience from start to finish. The place was clean, stylish, and had a lively atmosphere that made it perfect for relaxing and spending time with friends. The lighting, music, and seating arrangements created a comfortable and enjoyable environment. The quality of service was excellent. The staff members were friendly, attentive, and professional throughout the visit. They handled orders quickly, explained menu options clearly, and ensured guests felt welcome and comfortable at all times. I especially appreciated their positive attitude and efficient customer service.

A great rock bar perfectly positioned close to Rock & Blues and within the convention area. No food offered but no issues, there are plenty of places to eat. Good vibes, good drinks, great music and superb service! “The bartenders are hot, but the beer is cold!”
